Three Parallel Places is a brand new creation by Oxford university student, Hannah Chilver-Vaughan, and premieres at The Michael Pilch Studio in October 2017.
The drama explores good and evil, appearance versus reality, and human motivation, as it follows Ambrosia on her odyssey through three alternative universes.
Ambrosia’s rural idyll with her partner, George, ends suddenly after her thirst for adventure lures her onto the plains during a storm. In Egalitaria, “phizogs” confront the challenge of eternal peace, while in Autocratia, the oligarchs strive to satisfy their greed. Ambrosia turns to the omnipresent Iris, who seems to have a solution…
Set in a strange Classical World, Ambosia’s journey through three parallel places is both thrilling and provocative.
Accompanied by an original musical score, and performed in the theatre it has been written for, Three Parallel Places promises to be a unique production on the University of Oxford’s theatrical programme.
