2018 marks the centenary when the first British women gained the right to vote, and in honour of this TheatreGoose invite you to judge how far feminism has come, how far there is still to go, and whether there is hope for the future.
Lucy Kirkwood’s ’NSFW’ is a short, sharp, satire of modern print journalism - critiquing the objectification of women, the avoidance of accountability, and the commodification of moral values. We present this evaluation of progress towards gender equality as the middle of a triptych of messages, a journey of feminism for the last 100 years, and perhaps a vision for the next 100 years.
