taliesin theatre presents death grip by frey Kwa Hawking
(Wednesday 26th - Saturday 29th October)
Death Grip is a glimpse into the life of Adam and Jay, two men in a wholly dysfunctional relationship. Adam lives with depression that has kept him locked in Jay’s room for over a year; Jay splits his time between the night shift at the hospital and caring for his boyfriend. Compact, emotional and psychological, Death Grip shows us the reality of living with mental illness without the glitter of romanticism, and the role our relationships play in constructing who we are.
Show contains discussion mental health and depression, mentions of suicide, and scenes of a sexual nature.
